Szingapúr az első „elvi” szabályozói engedélyt adja ki a kriptobörzének

A Szingapúri Monetáris Hatóság (MAS) „elvben jóváhagyó” levelet adott az ausztrál kripto-tőzsdének, az Independent Reserve-nek. A jóváhagyás a csere célja, hogy a pénzforgalmi szolgáltatási törvény (PSA) értelmében Szingapúrban egy fő fizetési intézményi engedélyt szerezzen be a digitális fizetési token (DPT) szolgáltatások szabályozott szolgáltatójaként való működéshez. Ez viszont a Independent Reserve hatósági jóváhagyását biztosítja az ország hivatalos virtuális eszköz -szolgáltatójaként (VASP).

Independent Reserve highlights its achievement of being the first csere to get an in-principle approval license in a nation that has laid the strict regulatory framework for the crypto industry. The exchange argues that this approval adds a security firewall for its consumers as well as the exchange itself.

Singapore’s watchdog, the Financial Action Task Force along with MAS has applied hard and fast rules to crypto exchanges seeking to pass the in-principle szabályozók tests. The exchanges are expected to form customer protection mechanisms under government surveillance, follow tight transaction screening processes, provide sturdy IT facilities, and compliance structures.
