anarkez to play for Entropiq

Israeli AWPer Guy “anarkez” Trachtman will represent Entropiq as a stand-in during the CCT Central Europe Series 2 playoffs, which begin September 28. The squad played the recent ESL Challenger Rotterdam Closed Qualifier with Dmitriy “SENSEi” Shvorak taking on the AWP duties.

Whilst anarkez has been plying his trade for European teams most recently, he has stated previously in interviews that he can speak Russian.

anarkez helped Finest reach their peak world ranking

The news comes as Entropiq search for a new permanent sniper following the placing of Aleksei “El1an” Gusev on the transfer list mid-way through September, something that was mutually agreed between the player and the organisation.

El1an’s departure came amidst a struggle to kick on following the addition of Nikolay “mir” Bityukov in June, with the team bowing out of ESL Challenger Melbourne in the semi-finals at the hands of Imperial and failing to qualify for the European RMRs.

The team had also been faltering prior to the addition of mir, exiting early from ESL Pro League Season 15 and the PGL Major Antwerp Europe RMR earlier in the year.

By turning out for Entropiq anarkez will be making his first appearance in a HLTV match since the sniper departed Finest late in August by mutual consent, ending a 13-month association with the squad.

During his time in Finest he averaged a 1.13 rating and helped them to victories in Pinnacle Cup IV and ESEA Advanced Season 38 Europe, as well as to climb to their peak ranking of No. 19 in the world.

anarkez will debut for Entropiq in the CCT Central Europe Series 2 against eSuba, with that match kicking off September 28 at 13:00 . The action can be followed on the Champion of Champions Twitch channel.

anarkez previous team Finest are also taking part in the upcoming playoffs, and the AWPer may end up facing off against his old teammates in the semi-finals, should both teams progress.

Entropiq‘s squad for their playoff campaign is:

Russia Nikolay “mir” Bityukov
Russia Vladislav “Krad” Kravchenko
Russia Igor “Forester” Bezotecheskiy
