Bindiya Arora, PSI Fellow at the Perimeter Institute, is an IQT Vancouver/Pacific Rim 2024 Speaker – Inside Quantum Technology

Bindiya Arora, a PSI Fellow at the Perimeter Institute, is set to engage audiences at the upcoming IQT Vancouver/Pacific Rim Conference. She will participate in a critical discussion on “Responsible Quantum Computing” scheduled for June 6 at 3:35 PM. This panel will explore the ethical, societal, and technical challenges involved in developing and deploying quantum technologies.

Currently on leave from her permanent faculty position in the Department of Physics at Guru Nanak Dev University, India, Bindiya has carved a niche in theoretical atomic physics. Her research focuses significantly on quantum computing, atomic clocks, and quantum sensors, reflecting her deep commitment to advancing foundational and applied quantum science. Her recent projects at the Perimeter Institute include spearheading the development of a cyberinfrastructure designed to serve the atomic and molecular physics community, aiming to facilitate enhanced collaboration and data sharing among researchers.
