birdfromsky leaves ECSTATIC

ECSTATIC have officially announced the departure of long-term member Thomas “birdfromsky” Due-Frederiksen after four years with the organization. The Danish in-game leader has now entered free agency, meaning he will be able to explore his options in the market directly.

This is the second change in the ECSTATIC lineup in recent months, with the team also seeing the benching of Adam “WolfY” Andersson as the American AWPer took a break from competitive Counter-Strike.

birdfromsky made his name with Lyngby Vikings, the organization that later became ECSTATIC. Under his leadership, the Danish core reached their highest ever ranking as they claimed No. 16 in the early stages of 2022.

During their climb up the ranks, the team took trophies from Pelaajatcom Series Fall 2021, Funspark ULTI 2021 Europe Regional Series 3, and Pinnacle Fall Series 3. Following their recent results and roster changes, they now sit in the #36 spot of the HLTV ranking.
