Helvijs “broky” Saukants has been crowned the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the BLAST Premier Fall Final by HLTV.org and 1xBet, earning his second-career award after being a pivotal force in FaZe‘s run in Denmark throughout the group stage and in the playoffs.
The 21-year-old showed renewed form throughout the Fall Final, averaging a 1.29 rating over the ten maps played by the European team.
Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken, Martin “stavn” Lund, and Håvard “rain” Nygaard were trailing behind broky for medal contention heading into the final, and the Latvian didn’t let his lead slip by maintaining his form in the final series of the tournament, with a strong showing from Robin “ropz” Kool not being enough to usurp his teammate from the top spot.
broky adds a second MVP award to his cabinet after earning his first at IEM Katowice
broky particularly stood out in FaZe‘s opening series against OG (1.55 rating) and in the playoffs against Ninjas in Pyjamas (1.30 rating), but also found crucial impact with key clutch rounds and round-defining plays across the board to help FaZe on the way to a second place finish. Ultimately, his abilities didn’t prove to be enough to overcome Heroic in the title-decider, but thanks to the even-spread of output from the Danish team, broky still came out ahead in the MVP race.
broky ended up at the top of a number of crucial statistic categories on the leaderboard, including K-D differential (+72), kills per round (0.86), and 1+ kill rounds (55.8%). He also placed among the top five for damage per round (82.8, #5), deaths per round (0.59, tied #2), KAST (76.6%, #2), clutches won (8, #2), and impact rating (1.25, #4).
