Christopher Powell III joins IMRI as Vice President of Business…

In this role, Powell will be responsible for expanding IMRI’s business within Federal Agencies and developing strategic partnering relationships with large and small federal systems integrators. Based in the Washington, DC metro, Powell will provide the strategic direction to establish IMRI as a top small business supplier for cybersecurity and IT services. Under his leadership, Powell will manage the business development, capture management, and proposal development activities for IMRI’s federal division.

Powell brings over 30 years of experience leading business development and capture management within the federal marketplace and has a track record of successfully securing over $125 million in federal contracts awards. He specializes in creating growth strategies, forming partnerships, market penetration, and developing pipelines. “We look forward to seeing what the future holds for IMRI with Christopher on board as IMRI continues to provide enterprise-level services to our federal customers and support our nation’s critical infrastructure,” said Daniel.

Most recently, Powell held business development leadership roles at Katmai Government Services and The Elocen Group, LLC. Powell has thorough knowledge and understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) and is well-versed with White House OMB regulations. His intimate knowledge of the federal contracting process allows him to effectively analyze and develop business opportunities and create strategic marketing plans.
