Clear-Com brings IP and remote production focus to IBC

Clear-Com will be showcasing its IP-based and remote production intercom solutions at the IBC Show in Amsterdam on 9-12 September.

With remote and hybrid production having become the new norm, the company will be highlighting its range of virtual client solutions to facilitate these workflows, including the Arcadia Central Station with HelixNet Digital Network Partyline integration.

Clear-Com will also demonstrate new features introduced in the EHX 13 update of the Eclipse HX Digital Matrix, as well as its full range of FreeSpeak digital wireless solutions and the LQ Series of IP Interfaces, on its stand (Hall 10, D29).

The Arcadia Central Station is a scalable IP intercom platform that brings together wired and wireless systems, as well as third-party Dante devices, in a single rack unit. The system’s flexibility allows it to meet many production needs, with support for more than 100 beltpacks, and offer configurations that can be expanded to up to 128 IP ports.

The EHX 13 update of the Eclipse HX Digital Matri delivers role-based logins, N+1 IP card redundancy and network redundancy, ensuring a smooth and reliable workflow. Eclipse can now support systems of up to 200 FreeSpeak beltpack in a single frame, via E-IPA cards, supporting even the largest and most complex projects.

New to Clear-Com’s product range is the FreeSpeak Edge Base Station, an IP base station that supports the full range of FreeSpeak endpoints across three wireless frequency bands (1.9GHZ, 2.4GHZ, and 5GHz), as well as third-party Dante devices.

Also on display will be the company’s range of virtual clients, including the Agent-IC Mobile App, Station-IC Virtual Desktop Client and Trilogy Mercury Virtual Panel. In addition, Clear-Com will demonstrate the LQ Series, the audio-over-IP interfaces that move and distribute audio and communications signals.

Chris Willis, Clear-Com’s senior vice-president of sales, said: “Since we were last at IBC in 2019, we’ve seen an accelerated adoption of hybrid and remote workflows, as well as improvements in IP infrastructure. We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to reconnect with the industry, especially with those who are implementing these new ways of working and communicating. We recognise the changing environment and hope to collect valuable feedback about how we can improve the user experience.”
