ECSTATIC add salazar

The 18-year-old will take up AWPing duties for the Danish team.

ECSTATIC have announced the addition of Jason “⁠salazar⁠” Salazar to their lineup, with the former Atlantic AWPer joining the team to replace Benjamin “⁠brzer⁠” Jensen, who was moved to the bench on Wednesday.

The potential addition was first pointed toward by Dust2.dk, who run the Danish POWER League in which salazar is the tenth-highest rated player. Atlantic will still use the AWPer for their remaining matches in this season of the league while searching for a replacement, according to the team’s director Antonio Vlaisavljevic.

salazar‘s addition completes ECSTATIC‘s roster amid their ESL Challenger League Season 43 Europe campaign, which began with a loss to Entropiq in the opening round. The Danish team will hope to have a better showing in the league and recover in the lower bracket with salazar in tow, the 18-year-old’s 1.11 average rating in the past three months looking on paper to be a direct upgrade over brzer‘s 0.92.
