Couples in the U.S. can apply to win Taco Bell‘s first virtual legal and metaverse wedding package. The brand’s love and marriage services are heading to Decentraland, a 3D browser-based platform allowing shared virtual exploration, to celebrate the love between one lucky couple in a distinctively Taco Bell experience, surrounded by loved ones, special visitors, and Taco Bell fans and live streamed.

Taco Bell has been marrying couples at its Las Vegas Cantina wedding chapel for five years. 777 couples have gotten married at the Las Vegas Cantina since wedding packages debuted in 2017. Now, the innovative company is inviting couples to enter to win the first-ever Taco Bell metaverse wedding.

Starting August 25 through September 6, couples can apply to tie the knot at the digital metaverse wedding of their dreams by completing a registration form and submitting a video detailing their love story, desire to be married in the metaverse, and passion for Taco Bell via Taco Bell’s metaverse wedding website.

The virtual wedding will allow two Taco Bell fans to take their love to the next level. The pair will be accompanied by loved ones for the beautiful ceremony, which will include musical entertainment, a first dance, dinner, toasts, vows, and rings. The couple’s invited guests will have exclusive access to the wedding, although Decentraland residents can also attend.

Chief Brand Officer Sean Tresvant: “We’re always exploring for new ways to meet our fans where they currently are, even in the metaverse. By bringing the metaverse wedding to life and adding Live Más elements, the couple and guests can up the ante on their love for each other and the brand. Taco Bell’s metaverse wedding will allow one couple to take part in the next evolution of modern love, and we’re proud to lead the charge.”

Taco Bell will construct a unique wedding. This one-of-a-kind Taco Bell metaverse wedding will be a combination of long-held customs and forward thinking as Web 3.0 re-invigorates wedding culture

Taco Bell uses Web 3.0 and unconventional marriages. Taco Bell’s Wedding Package debuted in 2017. Taco Bell Vegas Cantina has hosted 800 weddings. Taco Bell released a limited selection of taco-themed NFTs in 2021 that sold out in 30 minutes due to cult devotees building locations in metaverse platforms.

The Decentraland Cantina will continue to let Taco Bell fans interact with the brand in the metaverse after the wedding. Deutsch LA and The Electric Factory created Taco Bell’s metaverse wedding.
