NAVI place headtr1ck on transfer list

Daniil “headtr1ck” Valitov has been placed on Natus Vincere‘s transfer list. The move marks the end of a two-year partnership between the two parties, dating back to when the youngster joined NAVI Youth in 2020.

Natus Vincere is open to loan or transfer offers for the young Ukrainian, stating that they will “happily support headtr1ck in his search for a new team,” as he has now “gained enough knowledge and experience to feel confident on the tier-1 scene.”

The 18-year-old recently played for the main team at BLAST Premier Fall Groups

headtr1ck‘s exit comes as quite the blow for the NAVI Junior roster. The 18-year-old was the team’s highest-rated player by quite some margin, averaging a 1.16 rating over 74 maps, with his closest peer being Andrii “nipl” Kukharskyi at 1.01. headtr1ck was also instrumental in NAVI Junior‘s most-recent 5-6th place run through WePlay Academy League Season 5, putting up an impressive 1.24 rating tournament-wide — the fifth-best showing in the event.

The 18-year-old has also garnered some experience at the tier one level of play, standing in for Natus Vincere at both ESL Pro League Season 15 and BLAST Premier Fall Groups. headtr1ck‘s solid performance in the latter was enough to power the side to a first-place finish in the group stage, boasting a 1.12 rating throughout his short-lived stint.

headtr1ck will look to make the next step up in his career in spite of Andrey “B1ad3” Gorodenskiy‘s comments at BLAST Fall Groups, where the Natus Vincere coach stated that he was “not ready to play versus tier one comfortably enough.”

“Over more than two years at NAVI, he has shown himself to be a true professional and master of his craft. Along with his personal qualities, Daniil’s gaming skills make him a perfect candidate for any top team,” said NAVI Junior‘s coach, Amiran “aMi” Rehviashvili.

It is hard to accept that my time at the academy has come to an end, but I realize that I have to move forward and reach new heights,” commented headtr1ck in the organisation’s press release.
