On the horizon: Previewing 49 statewide events & programs coming up in November

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Plenty of technology and life science events and program deadlines are coming up across North Carolina in November. Several events will be held in person or in a hybrid format, while many others remain virtual.

Building on WRAL TechWire’s ongoing work tracking important events and deadlines across North Carolina, here’s a look at what’s to come in November 2022:

All Things Open 2022

Oct. 30 – Nov. 2 @Raleigh Convention Center (& online)

The East Coast’s largest open-source technology conference returns this year with an engaging program for designers, developers, entrepreneurs, technologists and business leaders.

All Things Open Community Leadership Summit 2022

Oct. 31 – Nov. 1 @Raleigh Convention Center

Held in conjunction with All Things Open, this event will feature moderated and facilitated discussions and pre-scheduled talks geared toward community leaders, organizers and managers.

CIO Executive Roundtable

In this session, IT leaders at NC TECH member companies will discuss relevant topics and developments in their field.

Downtown Techies Raleigh Happy Hour

RIoT LXXVII: Demo Night

Held in conjunction with All Things Open 2022, RIoT’s eighth annual Demo Night will feature more than 50 IoT and technology demos, a live job event, startup presentations, networking and more.

Code for Durham: Civic Hacking Session

Code for Durham brings together technologists, designers, developers, data scientists, map makers, and activists to collaborate on civic technology projects. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month.

Big Launch Challenge Pitch Competition 2022

The annual Big Launch Challenge is a chance for startups to pitch their products/services for $15,000 in prize money. It’s also a good place to meet future investors and business partners. Over nearly a decade, the competition has awarded $174,000 to 16 companies as of 2022. This year’s event will be co-hosted by the Angel Capital Association.

Venture Asheville’s Corporate Entrepreneurship Series
