Releases Recap: October 3 – 7

This week, we released a bunch of titles and updates across the Quest and Rift Platforms. Here’s a rundown of the highlights:

Townscaper VR
Townscaper is an experimental passion project—more of a toy than a game. Build quaint island towns with curvy streets, small hamlets, soaring cathedrals, canal networks, or sky cities on stilts. Build the town of your dreams, block by block. Pick colors from the palette, plop down colored blocks of houses on the irregular grid, and watch Townscaper‘s underlying algorithm automatically turn those blocks into cute little houses, arches, stairways, bridges, and lush backyards, depending on their configuration. No goal. No real gameplay. Just plenty of building and plenty of beauty. That’s it.

Perfect For: Fans of Little Cities, Spacefolk City, and Puzzling Places
Developer: Oskar Stålberg
Available On: Quest Platform

features visceral first-person arcade driving combat that embraces the unique visual style of late 1980’s prestige anime. Gear up for blisteringly fast motorcycle combat with full maneuvering control and full 360-degree shooting. Unlock new bikes with unique attributes and abilities, and utilize missiles and grenades as part of your arsenal. There are seven procedurally-generated levels unique to every playthrough, full of high-speed encounters with both varied enemies and intense bosses. And there’s a fully-voiced narrative single-player experience, featuring the talents of Steve Blum, Sandra Saad and Richard Epcar.
