In particular, the irreverent cartoon show pokes fun at Matt Damon and his advertisements for Crypto.com, which centered around the phrase “Fortune Favors the Brave.” As noted in the report, investors who put $1,000 into Bitcoin back in late October 2021 would now have only $325.

The show’s plot revolves around a drought coming to South Park, leading the inhabitants to be driven to extremes. The show mocks Matt Damon’s Crypto.com commercial, poking fun at the actor for selling out for crypto.

Twitter user Dyme compiled several other clips from the episode, which likewise roasted celebrities who endorsed crypto and NFT-related products.

The list includes Gwyneth Paltrow, who has been a proponent of digital assets, and tennis player Naomi Osaka, who serves as a brand ambassador for FTX. The show also poked fun at Reese Witherspoon, another digital asset supporter, and Larry David, with the latter being lampooned for being ignorant of crypto.
