Famed Producer BLOND: ISH Hosted a Sustainable NFT Release and Exhibition During Miami Crypto Week

The worlds of art and crypto united on June 3rd as BLOND:ISH presented an NFT auction modeled after the seven chakras. This is part of a three-day NFT series named Chakratastic kicked-off with edition 111. 

BLOND:ISH is a meditation and spiritual wellness advocate that wishes to symbolize the alignment of all the elements. She composed seven pieces of music that correspond to each chakra level: root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, third eye, throat, and crown. An eighth special collectible was auctioned off as well.  

The auctions ran on Solana’s Proof of Stake blockchain, a more eco-friendly alternative to Proof of Work networks. As an environmental activist, it was important for BLOND:ISH that the pieces weren’t detrimental to the environment.

The visual components of the collection were designed by Known For together with BLOND:ISH’s artistic direction, and Art Plug collective teamed up with the artists to make these NFTs possible.The pieces had extra-sensory dimensions as they exhibited their own smell, taste, sound, and feel during the event, taking digital art a step forward as it embodied the search for balance and the importance of community. 

These unique chakra NFTs were showcased at The Margulies Collection at the Warehouse. The 50,000 square foot retro-fitted warehouse is located in the Wynwood Arts District of Miami and is known for hosting special exhibitions and educational programs. Additionally, every contributor to the auction received a participation NFT. 

Before the event, BLOND:ISH had commented on her expectations.

“We are coming together in Miami during the Miami Crypto Weekend to innovate the landscape of hybrid physical and digital experiences. We hope the audience leaves more educated, enriched, and abundant than before they arrived.”

BLOND:ISH will also cement herself in the crypto world by speaking at the Bitcoin Conference this weekend. She will be joined by inferential figures such as Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, former congressman Ron Paul, and crypto-friendly athletes Tony Hawk and Floyd Mayweather.
