SafeMoon CEO John Karony tweeted that the company is preparing to start a new project called Operation Phoenix in the Gambia. As per Karony, they are currently in a one-on-one conversation with the Gambia for approval.

Of note, Karony even said that the SafeMoon community is very happy about the upcoming Operation Phoenix project. Also, Karony expressed that he will go to the Gambia and present SafeMoon and its entire community to Gambian’s Ambassador-at-Large Sankung Jawara.
According to Karony, he will soon have a live stream discussion to share more about Operation Phoenix. Precisely, the stream will go live tonight at 8:30 PM (UK Time) on Twitch TV.
As per SafeMoon Chief Operating Officer Jack Haines, they are working harder with their technology team to ensure the success of tonight’s presentation.
Moreover, Karony again stated that SafeMoon does not intend to replace Gambia’s Dalasi in itscryptocurrency operations. Instead, the blockchain’s main focus is to serve as technology for innovation and learning purposes.
Furthermore, SafeMoon also aims to go mainstream and increase adoption in the Gambia. In fact, SafeMoon aims to gain more than 2 million users within the Gambian diaspora.
