Ubisoftova igra Splinter Cell VR je uradno preklicana

Still no word on the status of the highly-anticipated Morilec je veroizpoved VR igra.

To je bilo že leta 2019 govorice began circulating about a Splinter Cell VR game potentially in development at Ubisoft’s Red Storm studio with support from Reflections. In 2020, the company confirmed reports that they were in fact working on a VR adaptation of the legendary stealth-action game.

Glede na Informacije, an original VR game based on the iconic Morilec je veroizpoved franchise, both of which would be available exclusively on Meta (formerly Oculus) VR headsets.

Unfortunately, Ubisoft this week announced the cancellation of four games in development, including the aforementioned Splinter Cell VR experience. The news was reported by Video igre Kronika, citing a recent financial call led by Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot.

According to Guillemot, these cancellations were the result of an “uncertain economic environment,” but beyond that, details are limited.

Poleg tega, da Splinter Cell VR game, Ubisoft has also canceled the development of Ghost Recon Frontline, a large-scale battle royale game based on the hit series, as well as two unannounced titles.
