memecoins have made a huge impact on cryptocurrencies in the last two years. While the idea of memecoins was previously nothing more than a joke to serious investors, the same cannot be said anymore. There were only a few cryptocurrencies that managed to sustain their business while using the opportunity to grow as well.

Built initially as a joke, Dogecoin soon rose to fame as Tesla’s owner and billionaire Elon Musk tweeted in support of the token. It was the first time that an influential figure had made such a drastic impact on the price of an asset. The token quickly spiked in price and rose more than 37,000% from its initial price.
Like every other altcoin, however, DOGE too, corrected heavily after the market crashed. But the community seems to be bullish on the token again, which is why there was a quick pump in the prices in the past few days. The token that was trading at around $0.056 previously is now trading in the $0.062 level.

Shiba Inu and its price pump
شیبہ انو was the memecoin that only followed Dogecoin’s path, but also overtook it by a huge margin. The token too, rose in popularity after Elon Musk tweeted a picture of Shiba pups on his Twitter account. The major spike back then was almost instantaneous, where the token rose more than 45,000,000% in value within a single year.
As mentioned before, SHIB plunged in value and had been trading at a price range of $0.000010 before it moved up in price to the $0.000011 level within the past few days. As a project with one of the biggest communities in the world, the project currently boasts a market cap of more than $6 billion.

Tamadoge- the top alternative
One of the projects that have been gaining immense popularity for being the newest addition to the Doge ecosystem is Tamadoge. Being a project that boasts of utility along with its memecoin status, Tamadoge is being considered as a top alternative to the aforementioned projects.
تماڈوگے is a P2E game platform that was introduced earlier this year. It managed to create a huge community, which helped in raising more than $19 million in its presale round. Tamadoge features an NFT collection, where users can buy NFT pets from the marketplace. These pets can then be fed and nurtured and used for battle after a particular point.
Completely integrated with the metaverse, Tamadoge developers claim that there are several developments on the way. With an ambitious roadmap and a dedicated community, it is possible that the project me go up in value similar to its memecoin predecessors. For the same reason, investors have been stocking up on TAMA, the ecosystem’s native token.
Tamadoge was recently listed on OKX, one of the most popular cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. This may also act as a catalyst for a major price spike in the upcoming days. While this may be short-term in nature, the overall growth of the project too is being speculated by many to be consistent and drastic in the future.
