MCC Markets, a forex and CFD broker established in 2022 in Dubai, has appointed Michael Chen, a one-time Country Director of Admiral Markets in Shanghai, as its Chief Executive Officer.
Chen, who was previously the Business Development Director, Southeast Asia at GMI Edge, announced his appointment on Tuesday. However, his LinkedIn profile shows he started the role in November last year.
Chen, who boasts of over 15 years of industry experience, has worked for several brokers throughout the course of his career so far. Before GMI Edge, he was the Group CEO at brokerage firm CDG Global for a little over a year.
Before then, he was the General Manager at online trading provider FX88 in Shanghai City, China, between January 2017 and March 2018. He also served in Shanghai as the Country Director of MTrading for almost two years before joining FX88.

For nine months between September 2015 and May 2016, Chen also worked as the Country Director and Chief Representative of Admirals Markets Group in Greater China. In addition, Chen worked as a Shanghai-based Chief Representative for easyMarkets for a year and one month between April 2014 and April 2015.
Chen spent one of his longest work stints at IFX Markets in Shanghai, working as a Senior Account Executive between October 2007 and April 2014.
