Fintech firm Maya shared in a media release that it has reached another milestone by appearing on one of the first 3D billboard ads in the Philippines. The Maya advertisement was featured in the 3D Naked Eye LED billboard–which measures 40.8 x 9.9 meters, or almost the area size of a professional basketball court–located atop One Bonifacio High Street in BGC Taguig.

According to them, the 3D video ad material describes how “Maya is the most advanced digital bank in the Philippines – highlighting its high-yield savings account with daily interest payout.”

“We’re excited to be one of the first brands to launch this first-of-its-kind, cutting edge media innovation in the country. This execution perfectly captures the Maya brand – bold, impactful, and innovative,” Pepe Torres, Maya Chief Marketing Officer, stated.

Maya rebranded from its former name, Paymaya, last May to include online banking services alongside its e-wallet, cryptocurrency trading, and micro-investments. (Read more: PayMaya rinomina "Maya" dopo aver lanciato l'offerta Crypto)

Last month, Maya issued a warning to its users stating that they are not affiliated in any way with the  “Maya Trade” app on the Google Play Store and it is NON the same as “Maya,” the official app and brand of Maya Philippines, Inc. and Maya Bank, Inc. Maya Bank, on the other hand, ha ricevuto la sua licenza in September last year and has been operating fully since August after it received its certificate of authority (COA) from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP.)

Moreover, in October, just five months after its official launch, the digital bank Maya revealed that it had successfully registered 1 million customers and reached ₱10 billion in deposits. Two months prior to this, Maya reached 650,000 clienti e cinque miliardi di pesos in saldi di deposito. (Leggi di più: Maya Bank raggiunge depositi P10-B in 5 mesi)

Consequently, in another billboard stunt, Maya announced that a student from Cebu City had won 1,000,000 worth of bitcoin by just paying through the mobile wallet. (Read more: Studente paga il pasto con Maya, vince 1 milione di bitcoin)
