A Hollywood Sign to be Auctioned As NFT, MLS Launches its First Art Piece

The Hollywood Sign and a New York photograph of Amy Winehouse are to be auctioned as NFT along with Major League Soccer (MLC) launching their first art piece. Non-fungible tokens have the capability to be sold in order to raise funds and to use the proceeds from the selloff to offset the carbon emissions, making the collaboration completely carbon neutral.

The Hollywood Sign to be Auctioned as NFT to Support Charitable Initiatives

A world-famous landmark in the hills above Los Angeles, the Hollywood Sign is going to be offered as a non-fungible token (NFT) to collect funds in support of the charitable initiatives.

Talking about the NFT, it is going to be launched by rising management and creative platform, Sugar 23, which was founded by Michael Sugar, an Oscar-winning producer.

In addition to this, the company has recently indulged in a partnership with the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and is now looking forward to an artist to get the digital project done.

Sugar quoted:

It should be noted that the funds collected from the sale of the token are going to be used to finance various charitable activities of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

Amy Winehouse NFT Sale for Assistance of Musicians Struggling with Addictions

Janis Winehouse, the mother of Amy Winehouse released a statement in a press release in which she said:

MLS Going NFTs Based Around two Games

An announcement was made on Thursday that the top United States pro soccer league will be launching a collection of four NFT art pieces that are going to be related to two big games coming up this weekend.

The one is Portland Timbers vs L.A. Galaxy on Saturday at 6:30 pm EST and Seattle Sounders vs. Atlanta United on Sunday at 4:30 pm EST.

It is for the first time that the Major Soccer League has released an NFT approved by the league.
