BACnet International invites interested parties to the Interoperable Security Management Webinar #1, part of the Cybersecurity Acceleration Program.

Designed for manufacturers, the Interoperable Security Management Webinar #1 will give attendees the opportunity to learn from vendors and end customers about the challenges and needs they encounter in building security management.

BACnet International is excited to announce its first Interoperable Security Management Webinar, part of the Cybersecurity Acceleration Program, to be held Wednesday, August 2nd from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm EST. This webinar is free and open to all registered attendees. Future webinars in this series are only open to registered participants of the program.

Designed for manufacturers, the Interoperable Security Management Webinar #1 will give attendees the opportunity to learn from vendors and end customers about the challenges and needs they encounter in building security management. This webinar will help provide the knowledge and tools to meet those needs. Participants are encouraged to submit their questions to the panelists during the webinar. If they are not answered during the webinar, they will be added to the program forum later.

The webinar panelists include Dave Robin, Program Technical Champion, Nate Benes, Director of Operational Technology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and Carol Lomonaco, Senior Product Manager – Metasys at Johnson Controls.

BACnet International’s Cybersecurity Acceleration Program aims to help manufacturers reduce their cybersecurity implementation learning curve and align their product development with industry direction on interoperability and best practices. The program includes reference implementation and source code components including a Certificate Authority (CA) server, Certificate Signing Request (CSR) generation and validation tool, and a machine readable, interoperable certificate file format.
