• Binance launched its inaugural summer internship program in June 2023, accepting 23 university students from various countries.
• The Advanced Management Program (AMP) Summer Internship Program aims to provide hands-on experience to develop talent in the web3 industry.
• Successful interns may be offered permanent positions within Binance.

After an extensive evaluation of thousands of applicants, the inaugural summer internship program of the global crypto exchange giant Binance finally took off last June 5, 2023. The initial run of the project started with its first 23 university students from different countries.

“The program welcomes 23 interns from six countries to offer them a one-of-a-kind experience in the Web3 space,” the firm stated. Some of the students are confirmed to be from Queen Mary University of London, University of Birmingham, ESCP Business School, University of Toronto, and American University of Sharjah. 

Binance AMP Summer Internship Program

The Advanced Management Program (AMP) Summer Internship Program will run for ten weeks offering its students hands-on experience and training to develop their talent and drive innovation in the web3 industry. The interns will have immersive classes with Binance employees who will provide them with practical knowledge and skills.

“As leaders in the web 3.0 world, we have a crucial role in fostering and developing the talent needed for our industry’s ongoing success,” said Yi He, Binance co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer.

As per He, the program aims to discover and develop young individuals with a passion for web3.

“(The) initiative aimed at discovering outstanding young individuals who have passion for web3 and equipping them with vital skills and experiences to thrive in this fast-paced sector. We are excited to provide this hands-on experience, nurturing the future talents and driving our industry forward,” she added.

Binance said the program received over 8000 applications worldwide, spanning Europe to Asia. 

AMP Internship Training

According to a statement, the program will allow students to undergo cross-functional experience by rotating through various Binance teams such as Marketing, Customer Service, and Binance Academy. Additionally, they will receive mentorship from experienced project leads. 

The program will end with the interns delivering a final project. Graduates who excelled will have the chance to receive a permanent job offer at Binance or secure a position in the Graduate Leadership Program for 2024. 

Other Binance Educational Initiatives

Last April, the firm introduced Binance Sensei, an AI-powered tool that offers comprehensive information on web3 and the blockchain industry using the advanced ChatGPT technology which provides clear and easily understandable answers to user queries. 

The crypto company also has Binance Academy, an all-encompassing educational hub providing a variety of resources on blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and the web3 ecosystem through a selection of content catering to various skill levels and interests, including articles, guides, videos, and glossary entries.

Recently, the academy’s initial phase of Southeast Asia University Tour concluded in the Philippines where it visited five educational institutions.
