Circle K Convenience Chain To Host Bitcoin ATMs: Report

Circle K Convenience Chain will host bitcoin ATMs across multiple locations after a partnership with Bitcoin Depot as we are reading more in our latest Bitcoin news today.

Major BTC ATM operator Bitcoin Depot made a new long-term partnership deal with the Circle K Convenience store chain to launch BTC kiosks in the United States and Canada. Bitcoin Depot announced the deal in a new press release and according to the company, there are more than 700 ATMs installed in stores in 30 states across the US. The partnership provides people a more convenient way to buy Bitcoin and encouraged widespread adoption of the number one cryptocurrency. Bitcoin Depot has over 3000 ATM kiosks located in almost every state in the US and allows users to buy more than 30 cryptos like ETH, LTC, and BTC.

Speaking on the latest development, Brandon Mintz who is the CEO of Bitcoin Depot said that the new partnership deal enables the crypto ATM company to expand the services internationally and said that the installation of the ATMs will grow the number of customers visiting the store chain while still providing financial access to underserved communities. Circle K Senior Vice President Global Merchandise and Procurement Denny Tewell said:

The growth of ATM machines globally signals an increasing demand for BTC and other crypto assets. According to the data from Coin ATM radar saying there are 23,915 crypto ATMs in 75 countries up from the previous number of 11,665 recorded in November 2020. This shows that the number of ATMs has doubled in eight months. The statistics show that the United States continues to lead with over 21,000 BTC ATM locations controlling more than 86% of the market. Canada came in second with machines in 1696 locations that amount to 6.8% of the world total.
