CoinQuora Exclusive — Mauro de Rosa, CEO of Fast Private Jet

Mauro De Rosa is the CEO of Fast Private Jet. He owns the leading company in Europe that provides private jet charter requests worldwide. He will also be a part of the upcoming World Blockchain Summit in Dubai.

The CoinQuora team asked Mr. De Rosa some questions to help us get to know him, what he does in Fast Private Jet, and to tell us some things about the company. Without further ado, here’s the interview.

1. Please give us an introduction of yourself. What’s your background?

I am Mauro De Rosa, the CEO of Fast Private Jet. My aviation career had started in 2008 when I, together with two business partners started an executive airline. After 10 years, we owned 22 aircraft, becoming the leading company in Europe with 55% of the market share in the Very Light Jet Group.

Later in 2018, I started a new business model and sold my shares from my previous company, to establish Fast Private Jet, owning the management of aircraft, as well as being a private jet charter provider worldwide through a selection of operators that we collaborate with — who provide excellent customer care, safety, and flexibility to our customer.

2. How did you get into cryptocurrency? What’s your motivation? 

Back in 2018, when we were looking for new methods of payments, we started considering crypto payments — looking at its global market capitalization and its trends. We were convinced that our aviation business couldn’t change drastically. Technology is more or less still the same as 10 years ago for engines, fuel, maintenance, etc., so we had to find a new and a first of its kind solution, that has not been adopted by others.

What really was important for us is to give access to more people, and we found a way that approaching crypto as an innovative system of payment, could match our vision and ambition of always seeking to be the leaders.

Actually this year, 2021, Fast Private Jet had more than three million transactions in cryptocurrency.

3. How did you start with your current company? Could you tell us about the business?

Fast private Jet is the market leader in providing private jets within three hours from the second we receive a private jet charter request. We aim to provide the best quality of service before, during, and after the flight.

4. What would you say is the unique selling point of your company? What makes it different from other blockchains/crypto businesses?

Fast Private Jet is one of the few companies that started accepting crypto when there were very few who did with the business aviation and today, Fast Private  Jet owns the highest transactions for private jet charter worldwide.

5. What do you personally think about current market trends?

We strongly believe that cryptocurrency trends will speed up in the next years driven by the concept of crypto. The main factor that will drive the rise and the development of the crypto, is that its value cannot be decided by the government or by a company but it will be set by every single individual. Most probably, this is the biggest economic revolution since the economic structure was built. In addition, we strongly believe that we will have a strong, huge impact in terms of social sustainability.

6. Do you have anything specific to share about your projects?

Fast Private Jet will invest in human resources and technology to ensure to be proactive in blockchain and be part of this revolution as a principle factor in the business aviation business.

7. How does it feel to be a part of the Dubai Blockchain ecosystem by taking part in the 19th Edition of the World Blockchain Summit in Dubai on Oct 13-14?

We are delighted to be part of the WBS. It will be important for Fast Private Jet and its vision to meet in Dubai at the World Blockchain Summit, with the business leaders to share experiences and discover new technologies in order to guarantee that Fast Private Jet had a clear horizon for the near exciting future. Fast Private Jet will be present also in order to be able to illustrate our private jet services to new potential clients and to let them discover the effectiveness of a private jet as a business travel method.
