Basically, for every 0.001 $BTC purchased on the exchange, the user will be rewarded with one raffle entry. But take note that one user is limited to five raffle entries only.

Winners will be randomly drawn on August 16, 2023, and will be announced on August 18, 2023, with the following prizes:

  • 1st Place: $1000-worth of BTC
  • 2nd Place: $800-worth of BTC
  • 3rd Place: $500-worth of BTC
  • Consolation Prize to 50 Users: $50-worth of BTC

Meanwhile, Coins.ph reminded that while the raffle is open to the #CryptoPH community, market makers are not eligible to join. Sub-account trades will also not be included.

“Coins reserves the right to disqualify trades that are deemed to be wash trades or illegally bulk-registered accounts, as well as trades that display attributes of self-dealing or market manipulation,” the local exchange stressed.

Coins.ph’s Recent Initiatives

In an exclusive midyear review of BitPinas with Coins.ph Country Manager Jen Bilango, the #CryptoPH Champion emphasized that the exchange’s goal for the rest of the year includes adding more blockchain games on its Coins Arcade, the exchange’s web3 gaming launch.

Bilango also announced their plans to add more tokens to Coin Pro, an order book crypto trading platform, and provide more options for yielding income to their users through staking.

Meanwhile, during the meetup of the Blockchain Council of the Philippines, Coins.ph CEO Wei Zhou expressed his enthusiasm for local crypto projects and his intent to list them on the platform.

Saying that, “What I really want in the next six months is I want to have local champions on Coins.ph. I want to bring local champions, get their tokens listed, get their games listed and we build the ecosystem together. That’s what I want to do.”

Moreover, earlier this month, the exchange also confirmed that Coins TradeDesk, an over-the-counter platform catering to Level 3 verified users to trade cryptocurrencies, now supports multiple foreign currencies.

While last July, the Coins.ph team had a meeting with the Cybercrime and Investigation and Coordinating Center, an agency under the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) that is responsible for policy coordination, cyber security planning, and cybercrime prevention and suppression in the country.

According to the exchange, there was no specific partnership that was formed, but they are open to any initiative that will promote financial inclusion, enhance customer security, and accelerate the adoption of innovative technologies.
