Dallas Mavericks Start Offering Cashback Rewards On DOGE Purchases

Mark Cuban’s Dallas Mavericks start offering cashback rewards on the DOGE purchases for all fans that will spend more than $150 of DOGE on transactions which means they will receive $25 e-gift cards that they can later use for purhcases on the team’s online stores as we are reading more in our latest Dogecoin news.

Mark Cuban’s NBA Franchise Dallas Mavericks start offers cashback rewards programs to incentivize ticket payments and merch payments in dOGE. The rewards program is dubbed “Mavs cryptomania” and customers that spend more than $150 worth of DOGE in one transaction will receive a $25 gift card that they can use for online purchases in the Dallas Mavs shop. The program is slated to finish on September 30 and at the time of writing, users will need to outlay 505 DOGE in order to receive the e-gift card.

The Mavs started accepting DOGE for payments back in March and were one of the first clubs to start accepting BTC payments for tickets and merch back in 2019. Cuban is a huge DOGE proponent and stated in April that while the coin started as a joke, it is becoming a digital currency due to its increasing adoption rate. The billionaire investor stated in May that DOGE outperformed other crypto assets in terms of merch purchases as he noted that we will sell more Mavs merch for DOGE on a typical day than they did in one year with BTC or ETH.

Cuban became a prominent figure in the crypto space and backed plenty of blockchain projects like Polygon, NFT protocol Alethea AI, and NFT market providers Genius to only name a few. The Mavs owner also fired back in response to Trump’s latest FUD where he said that BTC and crypto are a disaster waiting to happen. NBA analyst Bill Ingram also stated:

 “I’m not one to agree with the former president on much of anything, but I have long wondered whether we really need another form of currency that only has a pretend value because some group of people decides to pretend it does.”

Cuban responded:

“Think of them as decentralized, secure, networked platforms with features that allow for the development of apps that can have unique utility for individuals and businesses.”
