I have been using Celsius for a few months now, and I really like it. The majority of my crypto funds are now stored on there. I’ve made more money from my funds on Celsius than on any other platform, not because of the interest, but because it feels much more like a long-term store than somewhere to keep swapping tokens. It has really changed my mindset on crypto investing.
There are a few downsides. Using Celsius is more risky than storing your funds on a fully-insured exchange like Coinbase, but for me this is a level of risk I’m comfortable with. You should do your own research before signing up.
The UX for buying coins in the app is also quite clunky, with payments sometimes failing, but hopefully this will improve over time.
On a final point, one thing that really sets Celsius apart is the community around it. It feels like everyone has a lot faith in Mashinsky as CEO, and Celsius is a very transparent company. This is evidenced by the Celsius weekly AMA, where questions from users are answered.
