Evangelist Pastor Releases Informative Examination of Social Drinking in New Book ‘Should Christians Drink Alcohol? Sipping and Slipping’

I desire for Christians to be educated in what the Bible really has to say about drinking and for them to become born again and stop drinking as well as for anyone with a drinking problem.

In her debut book, “Should Christians Drink alcohol? Sipping and Slipping,” Pastor Jill Y. Walker examines alcohol consumption by Christians as something that once was an unthinkable act that has now become socially acceptable within many Christian circles, even among pastors. Because of these conflicting views, Pastor Jill is setting the record straight by providing Biblical evidence which states that Christians should abstain from drinking any alcoholic beverage.

Pastor Jill presents her passionate and educated examination of social drinking with zero convictions within the Christian faith as compared to what the Bible really says about drinking as observed and studied by a lifelong Christian turned pastor. She also explains why eating where alcohol is served can be a bad decision while also sharing personal stories and scriptural references with the intent of enlightening the hearts of others and challenging them to be completely abstinent.

“I felt compelled to write this book because of the rise among Christians who are defending drinking and for readers who are searching for the truth,” said Pastor Jill. “I desire for Christians to be educated in what the Bible really has to say about drinking and for them to become born again and stop drinking as well as for anyone with a drinking problem.”

“Should Christians Drink Alcohol? Sipping and Slipping” is a book every born again believer should have and is an easy, informative and interesting read at only 60 pages in length. It also provides scriptural answers to the prevalent questions regarding alcohol in Christian life such as did Jesus drink, would He want Christians to, why is it wrong, and is drinking in moderation ok? These and other questions are answered in Pastor Jill’s book.
