FMAS:24 Day 2: Top Industry Experts Share Trading Tips PlatoBlockchain Data Intelligence. Vertical Search. Ai.

After an exciting first day, the Finance Magnates Africa Summit (FMAS:24) is now open for its second and final day. The environment is more vibrant today, with a record number of attendees at the Sandton Convention Center.

FMAS:24 is a prominent example of how Africa’s trading industry is shaping. The continent’s emerging market has already encouraged companies in the region. Now, the entire industry has come under one roof.

Today is the last opportunity for traders, investors, businesses, and industry leaders to gather at FMAS:24’s prime spot to forge new partnerships. This is where connections are made that will shape the future of finance in Africa. FMAS:24 connects online trading, fintech, crypto, digital assets, and payments, providing a dynamic platform for B2C and B2B audiences to network, learn, and form meaningful connections.

Moments from the Floor

“A trader who has transitioned from entry-level trading, there are certain things they look for in news as retail traders. When you get to the point of becoming an asset manager and managing clients’ portfolios, you are dealing with liquidity and the policy outlook. Your exposure to and understanding of news fundamentally changes,” said Lebowa Capital’s founder, Jimmy Moyaha.

“We were an APAC-based company, but then grew locally because of liquidity and other problems,” said Doo Prime’s Head of Institutional Clients, Fraser Nelson.

Panel discussions have started. ForexLive’s Adam Button is moderating a discussion on “How to Trade the News,” participated by Lebowa Capital’s founder, Jimmy Moyaha, HFM’s Market Analyst for Southern Africa, François Du Plessis, and Doo Prime’s Head of Institutional Clients, Fraser Nelson.
