Former Marqeta Exec Jeff Parker Takes Helm as CEO of Paymentology by Fintech News Singapore December 13, 2023

Global issuer-processor Paymentology has named Jeff Parker as its new CEO, succeeding the interim Co-CEOs Abe Smith and Angy Watson. Parker’s appointment as CEO of Paymentology is effective immediately.

With a career spanning over 20 years, Parker has worked across four continents, bringing a global perspective to his new role at Paymentology.

His previous tenure includes positions such as Senior Vice President and Managing Director International at Marqeta, where he played a key role in expanding the company’s international operations and services, particularly in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

Prior to Marqeta, Parker was the CEO of World First, an international payments company. He was instrumental in its global expansion and eventual acquisition by the Ant Group.

His career also includes senior roles at Macquarie Bank, JP Morgan, Accenture, and OFX, where he served as Chief Enterprise Officer.
