Gemini, the crypto exchange set up by Mark Zuckerburg’s favourite twin brothers has secured an e-money license from the Central Bank of Ireland, as reported by the Irish Times recently.

While this isn’t a crypto exchange license, it is another step by a crypto company into the fintech space, potentially enabling it to offer services similar to the likes of Stripe and Revolut, so it’ll be interesting to see how things pan our over the next couple of years, and show that Ireland really is becoming a crypto hub as they join several other crypto exchanges including Coinbase, Kraken, Binance and a steadily increasing number of high profile crypto companies.
