Independent CPA Firm Issues SOC 2 – Type 1 Report at FADEL

“FADEL supports some of the largest organizations in their respective industries and we view security and governance as a top priority as part of our business operations. It is important to FADEL that we assure our clients that our software and services are safe and secure.”

FADEL®, innovator of brand compliance, rights management and royalty billing software, today announced that the Company has successfully completed its Systems and Organizational Control (SOC) 2 Type 1 examination. SOC 2 reports focus on a Service Organization’s internal controls designed to meet its service commitments and system requirements based on the Security criteria established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The examination was conducted by Dansa D’Arata Soucia LLP (http://www.darata.com). In doing so FADEL maintains its adherence to one of the most stringent, industry-accepted compliance frameworks for service organizations and provides additional assurance to its clients, through an independent auditor, that its business process, information technology and risk management controls are properly designed.

The official auditors’ report provides a thorough review of FADEL’s internal controls, policies, and processes for its software platforms which provide customers with automated rights and royalty management across their licensing lifecycle, as well as compliance controls to protect their brand and marketing content. It also reviews FADEL’s processes relating to risk management and subservice (vendor) due diligence, as well as FADEL’s entire IT infrastructure, software development life cycle, change management, logical security, network security, physical & environmental security, and computer operations.

“We are pleased that our SOC 2 report has shown that we have the appropriate controls in place to mitigate risks related to the services we provide to our customers,” said David Feuerstein, Chief Operating Officer. “FADEL supports some of the largest organizations in their respective industries and we view security and governance as a top priority as part of our business operations. It is important to FADEL that we assure our clients that our software and services are safe and secure.
