The IQT The Hague conference will showcase Josepha van Kollenburg as the moderator for an insightful session on The Quantum Workforce during Day 3, Session 9, panel 2. As a dynamic and multifaceted professional, van Kollenburg recently embraced the role of Program Manager for Action Line 2 and Quantum 4 Business at Quantum Delta NL, following her impactful tenure as the Regional Program Manager at Quantum Delft for the South-Holland Province since 2022.

Van Kollenburg’s versatile background spans strategic management, sustainability, sales, and program and project management. Her primary mission in the quantum ecosystem is to foster enhanced interaction and engagement, particularly involving more end-users in the quantum technology field. Her recent initiatives have been pivotal in bridging the gap between quantum innovations and practical business applications, such as in the Quantum 4 Business program, underscoring the critical role of user-centric approaches in quantum technology advancement.

Before her quantum journey, as the Director of Fieldlab Industrial Electrification, van Kollenburg led efforts focused on sustainability strategies and expanding industrial networks. Her leadership facilitated the accelerated development and implementation of innovative industrial electrification technologies within the Rotterdam-Moerdijk industrial cluster, demonstrating her ability to drive forward-looking initiatives in complex ecosystems.

Her tenure in the petrochemical industry, including nine years dedicated to sustainability in the plastics industry, equipped van Kollenburg with a robust foundation in communications, public affairs, and project management. Her work at Plastics Europe exemplified her skill in strengthening stakeholder connections and enhancing the reputation of the petrochemical industry through strategic initiatives.

At the IQT The Hague conference, van Kollenburg’s moderation of the Quantum Workforce panel is anticipated to offer a comprehensive exploration of the challenges and opportunities in building a skilled workforce for the quantum era. Attendees can expect to gain insights into strategies for nurturing talent, fostering diversity and inclusion, and developing education and training programs that align with the evolving needs of the quantum industry, looking at Quantum 4 Business as an example.

IQT The Hague 2024 is the Netherlands’ fifth global conference and exhibition. The Hague is a Quantum Technology Event focusing on Quantum Networking and Quantum Security.
