John McAfee Was Found Dead In Prison Cell After US Extradition Approval

The Spanish court approved his extradition to the United States to face charges of tax evasion and the Tech entrepreneur and antivirus software developer John McAfee was found dead in his prison cell as per the report from the Spanish newspaper El Mundo. The statement from the Spanish justice department confirmed that there was a potential cause of death by suicide. McAfee was detained in Spain a year later on tax evasion charges as his extradition to the US was approved only this morning.

McAfee was indicted on separate charges of money laundering and fraud that were related to his dealings in crypto. The US attorneys accused McAfee of creating a pump and dump scheme and used social media to illegally promote initial coin offerings. McAfee’s initial claim was McAfee associates and the antivirus company he founded in 1987 as he resigned his position in 1994 and also spent the remainder of his life distancing himself from the company.

McAfee was also pronounced as an alleged murderer as he was at the center of an investigation surrounding the death of his neighbor in Belize but he was never formally charged but he was eventually held liable for the death but then refused to pay the $25 million judgment. He also attempted to run for president in 2016 and 2020 as he tweeted:

“Know that if I hang myself, a la Epstein, it will be no fault of mine.”

As recently reported, After admitting that most people don’t believe him, John McAfee admits he lost all of his fortunes, and in the light of his court ruling in Spain where he is staying for a year now as the former software tycoon explained that he has no funds in crypto anymore.
