JP Morgan Uses Blockchain for Indian Dollars Trades

The largest financial institution, JP Morgan Chase & Co., has partnered with six Indian banks to initiate a blockchain-based platform for settling interbank dollar transactions in the country’s new international financial center. In an interview, Kaustubh Kulkarni, Senior Country Officer of Asia Pacific at JP Morgan, stated that their organization will be conducting a test program in the coming months. The purpose of the program is to examine the performance of the banking industry, with the participation of leading private banks such as ICICI Bank, HDFC, and others.
