Electric car and crypto enthusiasts, rejoice! Daymak, a light electric vehicle manufacturer based in Toronto, Canada, has announced its new EV called “Spiritus”.
While electric vehicles aren’t a breakthrough product anymore, what makes Spiritus special is that aside from being an eco-friendly vehicle, it can also mine cryptocurrencies!
Daymak also said that its new vehicle uses a patent-pending system called Nebula, a crypto mining system designed for electric vehicles.
The dark horse of the EV industry?
Compared to the highly popular Tesla, Daymak is almost unknown in the EV industry, but its new crypto mining car has the massive potential to catapult Daymak into popularity.
Spiritus came at the right time where cryptocurrencies are rapidly rising in popularity. What’s more, many analysts agree that cryptocurrency won’t be a short-lived trend but would have a long-term presence and use, providing Spiritus with a valuable utility.
Daymak didn’t directly mention that it wants to compete with Tesla, but it hopes to earn global recognition for its EV vehicles, especially its new car, and expand internationally.
Spiritus, high in spirits!
Spiritus is a three-wheel, two-seat EV vehicle that is set to launch in 2023, but Daymak is now accepting pre-orders for its crypto-mining vehicle, and allow buyers to pay, of course, in crypto.
Daymak plans to release two models, the Deluxe model (US$19,995) and the Ultimate model (US$149,000), and both are designed with much power but with highly quiet engines.
Aldo Baiochhi, the EV company’s president, feels optimistic about the future of its new electric vehicle and says that one day, Spiritus might talk to its owner and say: “I’ve just deposited cash and dogecoin in your wallet.”
