August 2021 is Marvel Month. To celebrate this, Marvel has another exciting news for Marvel universe fans. The comic book giant recently entered the world of non-fungible tokens by releasing Spider-Man NFT collectibles last week.
And following this, Marvel has now launched their newest NFT collectibles in Captain America theme. They shared the news on their Twitter:
To note, NFT collectibles are digital assets in the form of photographs, music, video clips, etc. In the case of Marvel, their collectibles are 3D digital statues that owners can showcase in their personal virtual showroom.
This new NFT collection from Marvel is titled “Marvel Mightys – Season 1 – Captain America”. The set will have Steve Rogers as Captain America and four other characters. Moreover, this Marvel Mightys collection will show the heroes as teens like in DC’s Teen Titans, which adds a new spin to the superheroes.
The collection will have $13 NFTs of the characters, with a different rarity each. Most common is Marvel Mighty’s versions of both Steve Rogers as Captain America and Sam Wilson as Falcon. The next item, more uncommon, is John F. Walker as his version of Captain America or best known as US Agent. Then, Bucky Barne’s version of Cap is the rare NFT item and finally, the ultra-rare NFT will be Red Skull.
Marvel made their NFT debut through its partnership with Veve. With this, Marvel fans will be able to purchase the NFT digital collectibles easily.
