Maya Now Allows Converting Select Crypto to Bitcoin

Mobile money and crypto wallet Maya now allows users to convert select cryptocurrency to Bitcoin within the app. Previously, cryptocurrencies in Maya can only be converted back to fiat (pesos).

“There are now more ways you can expand your crypto portfolio with Maya. Not only can you buy and sell crypto – now you can trade! Choose from Ethereum, Cardano, Uniswap, Solana, and Polygon to trade with Bitcoin and vice versa. Plus, you can do it instantly and for free!” Maya said in a media release.

Maya is a mobile e-wallet application that offers features to help users save, spend, grow, and manage their money. It has a crypto wallet option where users can buy and sell cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin and ether.

Last May, the firm rebranded from its former name to include online banking services alongside its e-wallet, cryptocurrency trading, and micro-investments.

How to access Maya Crypto:

• Step 1: Open Maya and tap ‘Crypto’
• Step 2: Upgrade your account with at least one valid ID
• Step 3: Start buying and selling your crypto of choice

To kickstart a user’s crypto journey, Maya allows its customers to invest as little as P1. Aside from trading, their app also allows users to cash in, buy and sell, and cash out their crypto earnings.
