Maya Offers BTC Promo for 9.9 Sale

For this month, mobile wallet and cryptocurrency exchange Maya is gearing up to give their early Christmas gift to users through the app’s 9.9 sale, where users receive random amounts of bitcoin when they pay with the wallet via Number, Card, or QR.

According to the fintech firm, for every eligible Maya transaction, users can receive free bitcoin worth 1%, 10%, or 100% of their purchase—the monthly cap is at ₱500 monthly. 

“For example, a ₱500 purchase can guarantee either ₱5.00, ₱50.00, or ₱500.00 worth of bitcoin, which you can check in your crypto wallets after receiving an SMS notification,” it explained.

Further, each qualified and verified Maya payment will be equivalent to one raffle entry for a chance to win the coveted ₱1,000.000.00 bitcoin prize.

• Thru online:

For Lazada, Shopee, Zalora, Amazon, Agoda, Grab, FoodPanda, or any merchant that accepts Visa or Mastercard, just pay using a Maya virtual card.

• Via Mobile Number:
  • Can be used for Tiktok Shop, Lalamove, Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, McDelivery, Jollibee app, Codashop, Midasbuy, and others. 
  • Just proceed with these apps and websites, and complete your transactions by logging in to your Maya account for payment.

• For in-store transactions:
  • Use the scan-to-pay via Maya QR at stores like McDonald’s, Jollibee, SM Store, Starbucks, Watsons, Shell, Petron, and many more.
  • Users can also use Maya physical cards to pay at SM, Ayala Malls, Robinson’s, Nike, H&M, Uniqlo, Waltermart, or wherever Visa or Mastercard are accepted.

In April, Maya started offering the crypto to its users where they allowed customers to buy, sell, and hold crypto in just one app. Maya currently offers 15 cryptocurrencies, one of which is Bitcoin.  

Then after a month, in May, the firm rebranded its mobile e-wallet app into Maya and dubbed itself as “It’s everything and a bank.” Maya Bank is also among the 6 licensed digital banks in the country.
