Midwich helps staff out with autumn cost-of-living initiative

Midwich has launched a cost-of-living package to support its 350-plus staff.

The company, which is based in Norfolk, has put together a package of initiatives that will be implemented throughout September and October that will benefit every employee.

The incentives include:

  •  Supermarket vouchers
  •  Fuel vouchers
  •  Hot drinks, biscuits and cakes at the onsite cafes
  •  Hot and cold lunches
  •  ‘Everyday items’ such as food, toiletries and cleaning products for staff to take home
  •  Family treat bags containing sweets, hot chocolate and popcorn
  •  ‘Help yourself’ firewood
  •  Themed ‘all-welcome days’ in the office with promotions, competitions and local food vendors

Midwich Group’s managing director (UK and Ireland), Mark Lowe, said: “We have worked hard in recent years to continually improve what we offer our people. We have paid particular attention to regularly reviewing salaries and perks. We also operate meaningful incentives like our profit-share scheme and free share awards.

“In addition to this, if there are small gestures that we can make to help our people while the cost of living is high, then we are committed to doing everything that we can. We have plenty more ideas and have recruited a full-time person to help with this.”

Any products not used by Midwich staff will be donated to Waveney food bank in Diss.
