Music, NFT’s and the Metaverse
According to reports, Timbaland intends to “disrupt the music business” by “creating a new entertainment platform in the metaverse that restores creative freedom and long-term ownership to artists, a concept that is extremely important to us.” It is, in fact, critical for today’s creatives.
AIP has already signed ‘The Zoo,’ a hip-hop group created by BAYC, in a short period of time. Exclusive content, concerts, and live performances are expected at AIP NFTs. In addition, The Zoo is expected to release music NFTs in the next few weeks.
Music NFTs can go beyond Bored Ape Yacht Club
The NFT community has mainly ignored music NFTs thus far, and many have theorized that audio NFTs are “next up.”
