Polygon: PolygonScan to Offer Accurate Blockchain Data on Polygon PoS Chain

The Polygon announced the release of its anticipated product, the Polygonscan. The team said this product offers accurate blockchain data on the Polygon PoS chain Explorer. The platform is based on the famous Etherscan explorer and is built by the makers of Etherscan.

According to the Polygon team, they released PolygonScan to allow users to explore and search the Polygon blockchain for transactions. Also, users can search for addresses, tokens, prices, and other activities taking place on Polygon.

Let’s note that Polygon is a protocol and a framework for creating and combining Ethereum-​compatible blockchain networks. It also aggregates scalable solutions on Ethereum and supports a multi-chain Ethereum ecosystem.

With Etherscan offering ERC-20 and ERC-721 token support to transaction tracking, advanced features like Gas Tracker and Developer APIs, and many more, Mihailo Bjelic, co-founder of Polygon, said:

For the past two months, activity on Polygon saw a constant uptick as over 400 dApps, and DeFi projects chose to deploy on the high-performance sidechain of Ethereum. “Thanks to its higher throughput, Polygon already saw up to 4x more daily transactions than Ethereum at 7 million, while being nowhere close to its performance limit,” the Polygon team said. In addition, with Polygon fully supporting the EVM and offering virtually the same development environment like Ethereum, it enables developers to port their contracts effortlessly.
