Shiba Inu, the decentralized cryptocurrency platform, recently announced an intriguing announcement on its official Twitter handle. The network revealed that it is gearing up to launch a new project called Rocket Pond, which is set to bring exciting new features to its growing ecosystem. 

In addition, the team behind Shiba Inu invited their supporters to share their questions and concerns regarding the forthcoming Rocket Pond project. This was an effort to address the community’s inquiries and apprehensions about the upcoming venture. 

In September 2022, the SHIB Metaverse team introduced a new concept to take the virtual world by storm. Based on the reports, the team unveiled the Rocket Pond, a “hidden resort” in the metaverse, by sharing a black-and-white sketch through Shibaswap. 

Three days later, colored concept imagery of the Rocket Pond was unveiled, giving users a glimpse of what to expect from this ethereal resort. It was revealed that the Rocket Pond concept takes inspiration from two famous American destinations, namely Lake Tahoe and Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park.

These two locations are known for their natural beauty and offer visitors a unique experience that is both serene and adventurous. While it is not yet confirmed if the Rocket Pond would entail all of the aforementioned aspects, the team is committed to providing users with a more immersive experience.

According to the most recent blog entry, the SHIB Metaverse team modified their plans and goals for the Rocket Pond project. They are now totally committed to building and enhancing additional hubs for the community. The Rocket Pond is just one of the many hubs the team is working on, and they are continuously seeking ways to improve the user experience.
