Welcoming Lindsey Haswell as Blockchain.com’s new Chief Legal and Administrative Officer

Peter Smith

Today I’m pleased to welcome Lindsey Haswell to Blockchain.com. Lindsey joins us as both our Chief Legal Officer and Chief Administrative Officer and will lead our legal, compliance and HR teams.

Lindsey has extensive consumer-facing tech startup experience, and has scaled a variety of teams at the likes of Uber, Lime, and her own startup. Lindsey’s specialty is building the machinery to support growth-stage businesses and manage companies through uncharted legal and regulatory waters. She’s uniquely suited for a company like ours as crypto experiences explosive growth. From helping guide the developing regulatory framework in crypto, to preparing our company to meet this unique moment, Lindsey’s experience is invaluable for our executive team.

Lindsey comes to Blockchain.com after serving as the Chief Legal and Administrative Officer at Lime, where her entrepreneurial mentality was evident in the number of different hats she wore, from managing legal, to HR, to communications, insurance and trust & safety. Prior to Lime, Lindsey was a founding member of Uber’s Legal Team, where she oversaw many of the complex legal and regulatory issues that were then-developing in the rideshare industry. Lindsey’s also a startup founder herself, having founded a venture-backed software company for autonomous vehicle fleets. Before joining Uber and starting her own company, Lindsey spent a decade at renowned law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where she focused on litigation and regulatory matters for tech clients. Lindsey lives in San Francisco with her husband and two little boys.

I’m excited to welcome Lindsey to Blockchain.com and can’t wait to see what we’re able to accomplish together. Now let’s get back to building!
