A tutorial on how to navigate through the Wizardry World with your GUARD

Every Wizard needs a great GUARDIAN to pair. So in order to start building your Wizard Army (which you’ll definitely want to hoard as well for reasons we will cover in another base case medium article) you’ll need to have some $GUARD.

If you have not read the BASE CASE and don’t know why you are buying GUARD I would start with this article below.

Head over to https://home.babyswap.finance/ and be sure to connect your wallet to the website

Once you have done that you will click on the trade button shown by the red arrow.

This is the page you will be brought to and like other DEX’s you can now trade assets for other assets as long as there is enough liquidity. Add the contract address into the top box.

This is the contract address for $GUARD- 0xf606bd19b1e61574ed625d9ea96c841d4e247a32

After doing this once the system will recognize GUARD with your wallet and it will populate it for you without you needing the contract address after typing GUARD.

Set your slippage to at least 1.1% or higher (this will depend on how quickly the token is moving in price).

Buy the Guard you want making sure you leave enough BNB so that you can purchase USDT as you will need an equal 1:1 ratio of USDT + GUARD. This is necessary for the next step so that you can pair the two together to form a liquidity pair (LP)

Remember GUARD & USDT need to be at a 1 to 1 Ration to form the pair.

So a quick way you can figure out what that number is. Input the number of GUARD you want to create the LP with and input USDT at the bottom. This will auto calculate how much USDT you will need.

In the case of the above scenario 2656.04 GUARD is 89.3252 USDT.

Copy the USDT value

Then buy the equivalent amount from your BNB

.212458 BNB = 89.3252 USDT

Press liquidity so that you can supply your LP tokens

You now have your 1:1 ratio of USDT to GUARD to be able to formulate the LP pair.

Once you hit the Approve (you will only need to do this once) GUARD Button you will have to confirm the transaction in your wallet.

Following the Approve button you will click on Supply to be able to create your LP (which will also require another transaction in your wallet).

After your transaction confirms your bottom page will change to show you the amount of pooled USDT + Pooled GUARD you have as well as the number of LP tokens you own. Keep in mind this amount is dynamic and moves based on price changes of either asset.

Although not necessary- This is the contract address of the LP token for USDT +GUARD on Babyswap. If you add this to your wallet the LP token will appear.

Keep in mind after you place the LP token into a farm this will no longer show up in your wallet.

The Green line is if you want to stake Wizard + BNB LP through Pancake Swap (PCS) to earn GUARD

The Red line is why most of you are probably here for. Ignore the graphic and the APR’s/ Staked values for now. There is currently a UI error and this medium will updated once that is fixed, however the contract on the blockchain as well as the rewards you are earning are real.

If this is your first time on the farm you will need to press the Approve button (Green Arrow). You will confirm the transaction and the button will switch to the Red Arrow to allow you to deposit your LP tokens.

Once you press deposit you will receive a pop-up. Set the amount of the LP tokens you want to deposit.

The gas fees should look something like this below. If it is 0.4 or significantly higher than this and there is an ERROR SIGN Cancel the transaction and repeat the process. When you are in the deposit section remove the last digit off your LP and this should solve the issue.

Congrats You’ve Just Made Your LP & Started Farming WIZARD

Same concept as the farms except you will just need one of the assets and not the pair in order to farm the other asset. Press Approve → Deposit → Set the deposit then finish.

There are many options to choose from, but you’ll notice how Wizard is the access point to these other assets. (Again why you’ll want to horde that WIZARD army), which you can now obtain from your base case =)
