Developers will now have access to the Worldcoin software development kit (SDK), which has so far been available in beta mode, to create tools and apps using the World ID, the project’s identity protocol. In order to get fully verified, users have to get their irises scanned through Orb, a tailor-made device that creates a unique identifier out of human irises but doesn’t process or store any related data locally, according to the company.
