The sniper co-launched the organisation back in August 2021 when the team created its so-called “Turkish Superteam” project. He spent close to 16 months on the active roster before moving himself to the bench last November after a string of poor performances, stating that he “wants to continue his career in an international team.”

woxic became a free agent at the start of the new year

woxic‘s time with the Turkish lineup was one of mixed success. The squad often prevailed in a number of online qualifiers and national leagues, such as the ESL Pro League Season 16 Conference Play-In and ESL Turkey Championship Season 11, but failed to get much going once in a LAN environment.

Eternal Fire had an underwhelming 17-20th run through ESL Pro League Season 16, bowed out of the IEM Road to Rio Europe RMR in 12-14th place, and exited ESL Challenger Rotterdam in the semi-finals after being edged out by ENCE. These less-than-ideal showings ultimately prompted woxic to bench himself in November 2022, with the 12th best player of 2019 expressing an interest in returning to a team environment akin to his former MOUZ days.

woxic notably performed solidly despite the Turkish outfit’s tournament woes. He ended his year-and-a-half tenure with the squad as their second-best player — behind Ismailcan “XANTARES” Dörtkardeş — after sporting a 1.13 rating across 353 maps. He also performed well individually when in an offline setting, averaging above a 1.00 rating in all seven of the lineup’s LAN appearances.
