XRP now available for in-game payments in Roblox, Smite 

Xsolla, the in-game payments manager of popular online games such as Roblox and Smite, has begun accepting XRP as a payment method through BitPay, an Atlanta-headquartered crypto payments firm.

• BitPay said Tuesday that players can now use XRP as a payment method in Xsolla’s games.
• Roblox, one of Xsolla’s premiere clients, is an online metaverse and gaming platform that allows users to develop their own games.
• Roblox reported an average of 65.5 million daily active users in the second quarter of 2023, up 25% year-over-year, according to the game’s financial report released on Aug. 9. The platform generated US$680.8 million in revenue, up 15% year-over-year.

• The XRP token fell 0.65% in the 24 hours leading up to 8:30 p.m. in Hong Kong, to trade at US$0.4919, according to CoinMarketCap.
