Fondatorul Cardano vede „o posibilitate reală” ca Dogecoin să „ună cumva” cu Twitter

Charles Hoskinson, Co-Founder and CEO of IO Global (aka “IOG”, formerly known as “IOHK”), the company responsible for Cardano’s R&D, seems to believe that Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is going to bring Dogecoin ($DOGE) to micro blogging platform Twitter, which he purchased last week for $44 billion.

Dogecoin a fost inițial eliberat la 6 decembrie 2013, ca „monedă de internet distractivă și prietenoasă”. A fost creat de Billy Markus și Jackson Palmer. Este „o monedă digitală descentralizată, peer-to-peer”, care are ca mascota „Doge”, un Shiba Inu (o rasă de câine japoneză). De atunci, popularitatea sa a crescut substanțial, mai ales în ultimii doi ani, în mare parte datorită sprijinului miliardarilor Elon Musk (CEO-ul Tesla și SpaceX) și Mark Cuban. Anyway, on 28 October 2022, the IOG CEO said that he could see Musk somehow merging Twitter with Dogecoin:

On 29 October 2022, Hoskinson conducted a Twitter poll to see if the Cardano community was in favor of making a proposal to Twitter to build for them a Dogecoin sidechain of Cardano. With four days left, over 80% have voted “Yes”.
