High On Life este un shooter SF hilar de la Justin Roiland de la Rick și Morty

I love working on games that I want to play. I didn’t always get to do that at every studio I’ve been at but joining the team at Squanch Games has really been great in that respect. Justin Roiland (“Rick and Morty,” “Solar Opposites”) co-founded our studio, and we’ve been bringing his unique sensibilities to life in games like the award-winning Trover Salvează Universul și Contabilitate +. We’re really excited to share our latest game with you all: La mare viață. It’s a first-person shooter, with a real step up into A-level comedy you don’t see in video games. We’ve also got top-notch action, alien bounty hunting, and large worlds to get lost in.

You probably picked up on this, but in La mare viață you’re a bounty hunter who’s on a mission to stop an alien invasion on Earth. These interstellar cartel creeps aren’t just taking over our stuff — they’re using humans as drugs. Let that sink in for a few seconds. As drugs! This is where that bounty-hunter part is important.

Yes, you can acquire an arsenal of sci-fi weapons. Here’s the thing: The guns in La mare viață are also sentient life forms from another planet. They have their own cute faces, and they can talk out of those cute faces. It’s not just random talking, either. Your companions/guns have distinct personalities, and they’ll share their thoughts about what’s going on — even weaving their thoughts and opinions into the story in important ways. Each gun also has unique special abilities, and players will be rewarded for learning the best time to swap guns in and out.

You’ll get to travel to a bunch of different planets, where you’ll meet strange aliens, recover valuable resources, hunt down awesome enemies, and soak up the atmosphere. We don’t want to share too much about those specific locations right now, because a lot of the fun comes down to not knowing what’s ahead. I will say that fans of “Rick and Morty”’s interdimensional cable are going to want to pay close attention to Înalt pe viață.

We’ve been working hard on La mare viață, and we are proud that it nails two of our biggest goals. First, we want to continue to create funny games that catch you off guard. We don’t want to just tell jokes; our games start with Justin’s creative concepts, and we collaborate to ensure that you’re constantly surprised and delighted by what’s around the corner. It’s also important that our games are super fun to play and aren’t padded out with a bunch of nonsense. Well, not plictisitor nonsense. This is our first first-person shooter, and we’re proud of how it plays. It’s not a mediocre game with great jokes. La mare viață is a great shooter that’s also totally hilarious and weird as all get-out.
